Superior Strength of Malleable Iron: Unlike brittle gray cast iron, our fittings are made from malleable iron which undergoes an annealing heat treatment. This gives it the ductility to resist cracking under pipe stress and vibration.
Precision Tapered Threads (NPT & BSPT): Threads are machined to precise standards (ASME B1.20.1 for NPT, ISO 7-1 for BSPT) to ensure a tight, secure, and leak-free connection when properly installed with sealant.
Reinforced Banded Design: The raised band on each end of the fitting provides additional strength and reinforcement, preventing distortion and ensuring a solid joint.
We offer two standard finishes to suit your specific application:
Hot-Dip Galvanized Fittings:
Coated with a thick layer of zinc for excellent corrosion resistance.
Ideal for: Potable water lines, compressed air systems, fire sprinkler systems, and outdoor applications.
Black Iron Fittings:
Coated with a black varnish for basic corrosion protection.
Ideal for: Natural gas and propane lines, oil lines, and non-potable water systems where galvanizing is not required.
