Sugar Mill

Sugar mills rely on heavy-duty mechanical equipment to crush and process sugar cane efficiently throughout demanding crushing seasons that allow little room for unplanned downtime. Yile Machinery manufactures critical drive and processing components for sugar mill operations worldwide.

Mill Drive Systems

Bull gears and crown gears — large cast or forged drive gears that transmit torque from the prime mover to the crushing mill tandems. Produced in cast steel (ZG45, ZG42CrMo) with precision-hobbed tooth profiles for smooth, reliable engagement.

Mill Rollers

Top rollers, feed rollers, bagasse rollers, and fourth rollers with machined grooving patterns (Messchaert grooves, chevron patterns) optimized for maximum juice extraction. Available with hard-facing overlay for extended campaign life.

Drive Train Components

Pinion shafts, tail bars, couplings (rigid and flexible), and intermediate shafts connecting motors and turbines to mill tandems. Forged from alloy steel and precision-machined for reliable power transmission.

Bearing Housings & Supports

Heavy-duty split bearing housings for mill roller journals, designed for easy installation during maintenance windows. Cast iron or cast steel construction with precision-bored bearing seats.

Gearbox Rebuilds

Replacement gears, shafts, and housings for mill drive reducers and turbine gearboxes. We manufacture components to OEM specifications or reverse-engineer from existing parts.

We understand the seasonal urgency of sugar mill maintenance and prioritize fast production turnaround for critical replacement parts to minimize crushing season downtime.
