The rolling mill housing is the single most important structural element in a rolling mill. Its performance directly impacts mill productivity, uptime, and the final product quality. A high-quality housing must:

Premium Alloy Steels: We commonly use materials like 34CrMo4 (1.7220), ZG45, and ZG35CrMo, selected for their excellent mechanical properties after heat treatment.
Advanced Casting Simulation: Before pouring, we use simulation software (CAE) to optimize the casting process, ensuring a sound, defect-free casting with high internal integrity.
Specialized Heat Treatment: After casting, the housings undergo a multi-stage heat treatment process (such as Quenching & Tempering) to achieve the optimal balance of hardness, strength, and toughness required for the application.
A raw casting becomes a functional mill housing in our precision machining facility. Using large-scale CNC gantry milling machines and boring centers, we machine all critical features to exact tolerances specified in your drawings.
