Product Description
Your Foundry Partner for Large and Complex Components
Yile Machinery is a professional foundry specializing in the production of large-scale, heavy-section, and complex castings. We serve as a critical manufacturing partner for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and major industrial projects that require high-quality, reliable cast components manufactured to precise engineering specifications.
From one-off prototypes to full production runs, we have the capacity and technical expertise to handle your most demanding casting requirements.
We excel at projects that other foundries may not have the capacity or technical ability to handle. Our core capabilities include:
Size and Weight: We specialize in producing large castings, with the furnace capacity and lifting equipment to manage components weighing several tons.
Material Diversity: We pour a wide range of ferrous metals, allowing you to select the perfect material for your application's strength, durability, and cost requirements.
Technical Complexity: We have extensive experience with complex geometries, including parts that require intricate internal cores and strict dimensional controls.
Our engineers can help you select the ideal material for your project:
Grey Iron (e.g., HT250 / GG25):
Best for: Machine bases, frames, gearbox housings, and counterweights.
Properties: Excellent vibration damping, high compressive strength, and superior machinability. The most cost-effective choice for many structural applications.
Ductile Iron (e.g., QT500-7 / GGG50):
Best for: Pressure-containing parts like pump and valve housings, gears, and components requiring impact resistance.
Properties: Offers superior strength, toughness, and ductility compared to grey iron, behaving more like steel. An excellent choice for high-performance applications.
Cast Steel (e.g., ZG250-450 / GS-45):
Best for: High-stress components in mining, construction, and energy, such as crusher parts, gear blanks, and structural nodes.
Properties: Provides the ultimate in strength, toughness, and weldability. Can be heat-treated to achieve a wide range of mechanical properties.
Quality is cast into your component at every stage.
Pattern & Molding: We begin with precise pattern making and utilize resin sand molding processes for dimensional stability and excellent surface finish.
Melting & Chemical Analysis: Our induction furnaces provide clean, controlled melting. A sample from every heat is analyzed by a spectrometer to guarantee the chemical composition meets the specified grade before pouring.
Pouring & Finishing: Castings are poured under controlled conditions, followed by shot blasting, grinding, and any required heat treatment (such as annealing or normalizing) to refine the grain structure and relieve stress.
Inspection & Testing: Every critical casting undergoes a rigorous QA protocol:
Mechanical Testing: Tensile tests and hardness tests are performed on test bars from the same heat.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): We offer Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Radiographic Testing (RT) to ensure the casting is free of internal or surface defects.
Dimensional Inspection: Final dimensions are verified against your drawing using CMM or other precision metrology tools.
We produce custom components for a vast range of industries:
Pump and Valve Casings
Gearbox Housings
Large Gear Blanks
Machine Tool Beds, Columns, and Tables
Bearing Housings and Pedestals
Wind Turbine Hubs and Nacelle Frames
Crusher and Grinding Mill Components (Frames, Heads)
Press Frames and Bolsters
