Product Description

Yile Machinery is a specialized manufacturer of high-precision, durable injection molds (moulds) for the mass production of plastic pipe fittings. We design and build custom tooling for a complete range of fittings, including elbows, tees, sockets, and reducers, for materials like PVC, CPVC, and PPR.

Our expertise lies in creating robust molds that deliver consistent part quality, fast cycle times, and a long operational life, ensuring maximum return on your tooling investment.

The Core of Quality: Our Mold Design & Manufacturing Process

A high-quality pipe fitting starts with a world-class mold. Our engineering and manufacturing process is focused on precision, durability, and efficiency.

  1. Design for Manufacturability (DFM): We work with your part design (or help you create one) to ensure it is optimized for efficient molding. We run mold flow analysis to predict material flow, optimize gate locations, and minimize potential defects.

  2. High-Quality Mold Steel Selection: The choice of steel is critical for mold longevity.

    • Mold Base: We typically use P20 or similar pre-hardened steel for a robust foundation.

    • Core & Cavity: For critical forming surfaces, we use high-grade, hardened stainless steels like H13, S136, or 2344 to resist wear and corrosion (especially from materials like PVC).

  3. Precision CNC & EDM Machining: All mold components are machined using advanced CNC milling, high-speed CNC engraving, and Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) to achieve tight tolerances and a perfect finish.

  4. Expert Assembly & Fitting: Our skilled toolmakers meticulously assemble and fit all components, ensuring smooth and reliable mold action.

  5. Rigorous Mold Testing (T1 Sampling): Before shipment, every mold is installed in an injection molding machine and tested. We produce sample parts (T1 samples) to verify dimensions, fitment, and overall quality, ensuring the mold is production-ready upon arrival at your facility.
