Product Description
Yile Machinery is a premier foundry specializing in the production of large, complex, and heavy-section steel castings. We provide end-to-end manufacturing solutions, turning your technical drawings into high-quality, finished components ready for assembly.
The "Fork Plate" shown here is a prime example of our capability to produce intricate, mission-critical parts for demanding environments like the mining industry.
For large and geometrically complex parts, casting is often the most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing method. It offers several key benefits:
Design Freedom: Casting allows for the creation of intricate internal and external shapes that are impossible or prohibitively expensive to produce by fabrication or machining from billet.
Material Versatility: We can pour a wide variety of carbon, alloy, and stainless steels, allowing you to select the perfect material properties (strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance) for your application.
Structural Integrity: A single, solid cast part can replace a complex assembly of welded plates and components, eliminating joints and potential failure points.
We manage every step of production to ensure your parts meet the highest quality standards.
Pattern & Mold Making: We begin by creating a precise pattern of your component, which is then used to create a robust sand mold capable of handling molten steel.
Melting & Pouring: High-grade steel scrap and alloys are melted in our induction furnaces. The chemical composition is analyzed and adjusted before the molten metal is poured into the mold.
Cooling & Shakeout: The casting is allowed to cool under controlled conditions. Once solidified, it is removed from the sand mold in a process called shakeout.
Finishing & Heat Treatment: Risers and gates are removed, and the part is shot-blasted for a clean surface finish. The casting then undergoes specialized heat treatment (e.g., normalizing, quenching, tempering) to achieve the required mechanical properties.
Precision Machining: If required, the finished casting is moved to our CNC machine shop for final machining to tight tolerances.
Quality is built into our process and verified at every stage.
Chemical Analysis: We use a spectrometer to verify the exact chemical composition of every heat.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): We perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Radiographic Testing (RT) to ensure the casting is free of internal and external defects.
Dimensional Inspection: We use CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and other metrology tools to verify that all dimensions match your drawings.
Our heavy-duty steel castings are used in a wide range of demanding industries:
Mining & Earthmoving: Excavator and loader structural components, suspension parts, bucket adapters.
Industrial Machinery: Press frames, gear housings, pump and valve bodies.
Marine & Offshore: Mooring equipment, rudder components, winch parts.
Energy Sector: Turbine housings, components for oil & gas drilling.
Rail: Coupler components, suspension parts.
