Product Description

Yile Machinery is a specialist OEM manufacturer of large, heavy-duty cast iron bases, beds, columns, and structural components for the machine tool industry. We transform your technical drawings into high-precision, dimensionally stable foundations for CNC milling machines, grinders, lathes, and other industrial equipment.

Our expertise in casting and precision machining ensures that every component we deliver provides the exceptional rigidity and vibration damping required for high-performance machinery.

Why Cast Iron is the Superior Choice for Machine Bases

High-quality gray iron castings are the industry standard for machine tool structures for three critical reasons:

  1. Superior Vibration Damping: Cast iron naturally absorbs and dampens vibrations generated during high-speed cutting, leading to improved surface finishes and longer tool life.

  2. High Rigidity and Compressive Strength: Our heavy-section castings provide an incredibly stable and rigid foundation that resists deflection under heavy loads and powerful cutting forces.

  3. Excellent Thermal Stability: Cast iron machine bases exhibit minimal dimensional change with temperature fluctuations, ensuring consistent machining accuracy over long production runs.

Our Integrated Manufacturing Process: From Drawing to Finished Component

We manage the entire production process in-house to guarantee quality and adherence to your specifications.

  1. Pattern & Mould Making: Based on your 3D model or 2D drawing, we create a precise pattern. We utilize the resin sand casting process, which is ideal for producing large castings with excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy.

  2. Casting & Pouring: We use high-grade gray iron (such as HT250/GG25) with a tightly controlled chemical composition. The molten iron is poured into the sand mould to form the raw casting.

  3. Stress Relief Annealing: This is a critical step. The raw casting is heat-treated in a large annealing furnace. This thermal cycle removes internal stresses from the casting process, ensuring long-term dimensional stability and preventing deformation after machining.

  4. Precision Machining: The annealed casting is then moved to our large-scale CNC machining centers. Using CNC gantry milling machines, boring machines, and grinders, we machine all critical surfaces, guideways, mounting holes, and reference points to your exact tolerances.

  5. Final Inspection & Quality Control: Every finished machine base is rigorously inspected using tools like Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), laser trackers, and precision gauges to verify all dimensions are within the specified tolerances before painting and shipment.
