Product Description

Yile Machinery is an OEM foundry specializing in the manufacture of high-strength excavator track links. As the backbone of the track chain assembly, our track links are cast from premium alloy steel and heat-treated to withstand the extreme stresses and abrasive wear encountered in mining, quarrying, and heavy construction environments.

We produce both standard replacement links and offer custom (non-standard) manufacturing for any make or model of excavator.

The Critical Role of a High-Quality Track Link

The track link is the fundamental building block of an excavator's undercarriage. Each link connects to the next with a pin and bushing, forming the track chain that carries the entire weight of the machine. A high-quality track link must:

  • Bear immense tensile loads as the excavator propels itself.

  • Resist severe abrasive wear from dirt, sand, and rock.

  • Endure constant impact and high-pressure contact with rollers and idlers.

Failure of a single track link can disable the entire machine, making the quality of this component absolutely critical for operational reliability.

Our Superior Manufacturing Process for Maximum Durability

We combine advanced materials and multi-stage processing to create a track link with exceptional service life.

  1. Material Selection: We start with high-strength, wear-resistant cast alloy steel (e.g., 35CrMo or equivalent grades), which is specifically designed for high-impact and heavy-load applications.

  2. Precision Casting: Our casting process ensures a dense, internally sound link free from porosity or defects. This provides the fundamental strength required to resist cracking and deformation.

  3. Critical Heat Treatment (Induction Hardening): This is the most important step. The "rail" surface of the track link (where the rollers make contact) and the pin bores are subjected to a precise induction hardening process. This creates an extremely hard, wear-resistant surface while leaving the core of the link tough and ductile to absorb shock loads.

  4. Precision CNC Machining: All contact surfaces and pin bores are machined to exact specifications, ensuring perfect alignment and fitment with pins, bushings, and track shoes.

  5. Rigorous Quality Control: Every link is inspected for chemical composition, hardness depth and value, and dimensional accuracy before shipment.

Custom & Non-Standard Track Link Manufacturing

A key part of our service is the ability to produce custom or "non-standard" track links. If you operate older, rare, or specialized machinery, finding replacement undercarriage parts can be difficult and expensive. We can help.

We can manufacture durable, high-performance track links based on:

  • An OEM part number

  • A detailed technical drawing

  • A physical sample to reverse-engineer

We have the capability to produce track links for virtually any excavator, including models from Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, Doosan, and many others.
