Ideal for high-speed and high-load applications, helical gears provide a smoother, quieter operation than spur gears. The angled teeth engage more gradually, distributing the load and reducing impact stress and vibration.
Applications: Grinding Mills (Ball, SAG), Rotary Kilns, Industrial Mixers, Conveyor Drives.
Capability: We can manufacture large-scale helical gears, often used as the main "girth gear" or "bull gear" in large rotating equipment.
Process: Manufactured from high-strength forged steel and precision-cut on our large-capacity CNC gear hobbing machines.

The ultimate solution for high-torque transmission, the herringbone (or double helical) design features a V-shaped tooth structure that cancels out axial thrust forces. This allows for massive power transfer without loading adjacent bearings.
Applications: Steel Mill Drives, Marine Propulsion Systems, High-Pressure Pumps, Extruder Gearboxes.
Capability: We specialize in manufacturing the drive pinions that mesh with large herringbone gears, which are subjected to the highest stress in the system.
Process: Precision machined and gear-cut from superior forged alloys like 42CrMo or 34CrNiMo6, followed by specialized heat treatment for optimal surface hardness and core toughness.

Engineering Review: We work with your technical drawings (OEM or custom) to ensure all manufacturing parameters are clearly defined.
Material Forging: We begin with high-quality forged steel blanks. This process creates a refined grain structure that provides significantly higher impact strength and fatigue resistance compared to cast iron or bar stock.
Precision CNC Machining: The forged blank is turned and milled to precise dimensions, preparing it for gear cutting.
Advanced Gear Cutting: Using specialized CNC hobbing, shaping, or milling machines, we generate the precise tooth geometry—whether a single helix or a complex double helix.
Targeted Heat Treatment: The gear undergoes a controlled heat treatment cycle (e.g., Quenching & Tempering, Carburizing, Nitriding) to achieve the specified hardness for wear resistance while maintaining core ductility.
Final Grinding & Quality Inspection: For the highest precision, teeth can be ground after heat treatment. Every gear is subjected to rigorous quality inspection, including dimensional checks, hardness testing, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) like Magnetic Particle (MT) or Ultrasonic (UT) inspection.
