Product Description
Achieving precise straightness is a critical final step in the production of high-quality metal bars, tubes, and pipes. The performance and lifespan of your straightening machine depend entirely on the quality of its rolls.
Yile Machinery engineers and manufactures high-endurance straightening rolls designed to deliver exceptional straightness and a flawless surface finish while providing maximum service life in continuous production environments.
The longevity and effectiveness of a straightening roll are determined by its material and hardness. We select premium forged alloy and tool steels, each chosen for its unique properties and treated to achieve the perfect balance of extreme surface hardness and core toughness.
Premium Forged Steel Blanks: We start with forged steel, which offers a refined grain structure and superior toughness compared to cast materials, making our rolls highly resistant to spalling and cracking under high pressure.
Advanced Material Selection:
GCr15 (AISI 52100): A high-carbon bearing steel offering excellent hardness and wear resistance for standard applications.
Cr12MoV (D2 Tool Steel): A high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel with exceptional wear resistance and compressive strength, ideal for high-volume straightening of hard materials.
Custom Alloy Steels: We can select other specialized tool steels based on your specific application requirements.
Specialized Heat Treatment: Our rolls undergo a multi-stage heat treatment process, including quenching and tempering, followed by intermediate frequency induction hardening on the working surface. This creates an extremely hard (up to HRC 62-65) and deep wear layer, while the core remains tough and ductile to absorb shock loads.
The geometry of the roll's working surface is critical for effective straightening. We use advanced CNC grinding machines to produce rolls with a mathematically precise profile.
Hyperbolic Curve Profiles: We specialize in grinding the complex concave (bottom roll) and convex (top roll) profiles required for multi-roll straightening machines.
Perfect Contact, No Marking: This precision ensures optimal contact along the length of the product, efficiently removing bends without leaving feed marks or damaging the surface.
Mirror Finish: Rolls can be polished to a mirror finish to protect the surface of sensitive products like stainless steel or aluminum tubes.
We manufacture replacement and OEM rolls for all major types of straightening equipment:
Multi-Roll Straighteners (5, 7, 9+ Rolls): The most common type for high-precision straightening.
Cross-Roll / Two-Roll Straighteners: Used for high-speed, high-accuracy straightening and polishing.
Vertical & Horizontal Straightening Presses
