Product Description
The rollers in a roll crusher are subjected to the most extreme impact and abrasion in the entire machine. Their service life is a direct factor in your operational costs and overall plant uptime. Standard steel or iron rollers wear quickly, leading to frequent, costly replacements and lost production.
Yile Machinery manufactures premium roll crusher rollers and replaceable roll shells from high-manganese austenitic steel, the industry-proven material for maximum durability in high-impact crushing applications.
Our rollers are not made from ordinary steel. We use advanced alloys like Mn13Cr2, which have a unique and critical property: work-hardening.
Initial State: In its initial state, the steel is relatively soft but incredibly tough, allowing it to absorb intense impact and shock without cracking.
Under Impact: As rocks, ore, or other materials are crushed, the repeated impacts cause the surface of the steel to rapidly harden, increasing its hardness significantly.
The Result: This creates a component with the perfect combination of properties: an ultra-hard, abrasion-resistant outer surface and a tough, ductile inner core that resists fracture. The roller continuously regenerates its hard surface as it works, dramatically extending its wear life compared to conventional materials.
A superior alloy is only the beginning. Our manufacturing process ensures every roller delivers maximum value:
Custom Casting: We cast rollers and roll shells to your exact specifications. This includes various surface profiles such as toothed, corrugated, or smooth, designed to optimize grip and crushing efficiency for your specific material.
Specialized Water Toughening Treatment: After casting, the rollers undergo a critical heat treatment process to achieve the ideal austenitic microstructure, maximizing the work-hardening effect and overall toughness.
Precision Machining: The shaft bore and mounting surfaces are precision-machined to ensure a perfect fit, easy installation, and balanced rotation. A balanced roller reduces vibration, which protects bearings and the crusher frame from premature damage.
Cost-Effective Roller Shells: For many crusher models, we offer replaceable "roll shells" or "tyres" . This allows you to replace only the worn outer surface, reusing the central shaft (arbor) and significantly reducing your long-term maintenance costs.
Our high-manganese steel rollers are the ideal upgrade or replacement part for roll crushers used in:
Mining & Minerals: Crushing medium-hard ores, coal, and minerals.
Aggregate & Sand Production: Secondary and tertiary crushing of rock and gravel.
Cement Industry: Crushing limestone, clinker, and gypsum.
Industrial Applications: Crushing coke, slag, and other abrasive materials.
