Product Description
Engineered for Maximum Strength and Durability
The main frame is the backbone of a jaw crusher, bearing the full force of the crushing operation. It is a single, massive component subjected to immense stress and vibration. A failure in the main frame, typically a crack originating from a high-stress area or a faulty weld, is the most severe event a crusher can experience, resulting in total loss of the machine and catastrophic operational downtime.
Yile Machinery manufactures replacement jaw crusher main frames that are engineered to meet or exceed the performance of original OEM parts. Our process focuses on three critical areas: superior weld integrity, complete thermal stress relieving, and high-precision machining to deliver a frame that is built to last.
A reliable jaw crusher frame is the result of a tightly controlled manufacturing process. Shortcuts in any of these three areas will lead to premature failure.
Expert Fabrication & Full-Penetration Welding:
We start with high-tensile structural steel plates (e.g., S355, ASTM A572-50, or higher grades), certified for their chemical and mechanical properties.
Our certified welders use advanced welding procedures to ensure full-penetration welds at all critical joints. This creates a single, monolithic structure that is immensely strong and resistant to fatigue.
Essential Thermal Stress Relieving:
This is the most critical step in ensuring frame longevity. After welding is complete, the entire frame is heated in a large furnace to a uniform temperature (approx. 600-650°C) and then slowly cooled under computer control.
Benefit: This process removes the massive internal stresses created by welding. A frame that has been properly stress-relieved is dimensionally stable and drastically less prone to fatigue cracking and distortion during operation. We consider this step mandatory for any crusher frame.
Large-Capacity Precision Machining:
The stable, stress-relieved frame is then moved to our large CNC horizontal boring mills.
We machine all critical surfaces—the main bearing bores, toggle seat, mounting pads, and cheek plate surfaces—in a single setup.
Benefit: This guarantees perfect alignment and concentricity between the bearing bores, which is essential for extending bearing life, ensuring smooth operation, and preventing premature shaft failure.
We provide complete transparency and proof of quality for every frame we build.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) of Welds: Every critical weld is ultrasonically tested to verify its internal integrity and confirm it is 100% free of defects.
Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI): All machined surfaces are inspected for any potential surface indications.
CMM Dimensional Report: We perform a final inspection with a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) or laser tracker to guarantee that every machined dimension and bore location is within the specified OEM tolerance.
Complete Documentation Package: Each frame is shipped with full QA documentation, including material certificates, weld procedure records, the heat treatment chart, and the final dimensional inspection report.
We manufacture aftermarket main frames, bodies, and chassis for a wide range of primary jaw crushers, including:
Metso®: Nordberg® C-Series™ (C80, C96, C106, C116, C120, C130)
