A crusher flywheel serves two essential functions simultaneously:
Power Transmission: As a large V-belt pulley, it efficiently transmits power from the electric motor to the crusher's eccentric shaft.
Energy Storage: Its massive weight stores rotational energy (inertia). This stored energy is released during the crushing stroke, providing the peak power needed to break rock and smoothing out the load on the motor and electrical systems.

Superior Material Selection (GG25 / EN-GJL-250): We use high-grade GG25 Grey Cast Iron for its excellent vibration damping properties and high compressive strength. This material is ideal for absorbing the constant shock and vibration inherent in crushing operations.
Quality-Controlled Casting & Machining: Our flywheels are cast using proven foundry techniques to ensure they are free of internal defects. We then use precision CNC machines to turn the V-belt grooves, bore the shaft hole, and cut the keyway to your exact specifications, guaranteeing a perfect fit. We can accommodate standard bores or profiles for taper-lock bushings.
Critical Dynamic Balancing: This is the most important step. An unbalanced flywheel will cause severe vibrations at operational speed, leading to premature bearing failure, structural cracking, and unsafe working conditions. Every flywheel we produce is dynamically balanced to precise tolerances, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe operation.
