Product Description

Engineered for Maximum Wear Life in Mining & Construction

In heavy-duty applications, an excavator's undercarriage is where the battle is won or lost. It can account for up to 50% of a machine's lifetime maintenance costs. The drive sprocket is a primary wear component, and its failure means immediate and costly downtime.

Yile Machinery manufactures high-strength, wear-resistant excavator sprockets designed to withstand the most abrasive and high-impact conditions. Our sprockets deliver extended service life, ensuring your machine stays productive and your cost-per-hour remains low.

The Process Behind a Superior Sprocket

The longevity of a sprocket depends entirely on its material quality and, most importantly, its heat treatment.

  1. Precision Casting: We begin with a high-quality, wear-resistant steel alloy (such as 35SiMn) specifically formulated for undercarriage components. Our casting process is tightly controlled to eliminate internal defects like porosity, ensuring a solid, robust foundation.

  2. Critical Heat Treatment: This is the most important step. The sprocket teeth are subjected to a specialized induction hardening process. This creates an extremely hard outer surface (case) while maintaining a more ductile inner core.

    • Benefit: The hardened teeth (typically HRC 50-58) provide exceptional resistance to wear from the track chain bushing. The tougher core allows the sprocket to absorb shock loads without fracturing, a common failure point in improperly treated parts.

Features That Reduce Your Operating Costs

  • Extended Wear Life: Optimized tooth hardness and profile significantly slow the rate of wear, extending the time between undercarriage services.

  • Precision Machining: Guarantees a perfect fit with your track chain and final drive, ensuring smooth power transfer and reducing wear on associated components.

  • High Strength & Impact Resistance: Superior casting and a tough inner core prevent tooth breakage in demanding rock and quarry environments.

  • Reduced Downtime: A longer-lasting sprocket means fewer service events and more productive hours from your excavator.

OEM-Compatible for All Major Excavator Brands

We manufacture sprockets and sprocket segments for a vast range of excavators. We can supply parts that are fully compatible and interchangeable with:

  • Caterpillar

  • Komatsu

  • Hitachi

  • And many more...

Provide us with your machine make, model, and serial number for a guaranteed fit.

Quality Assurance & Inspection

Every sprocket is rigorously inspected to ensure it meets the demands of the field.

  • Material Analysis: Spectrometer testing to verify alloy composition.

  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to ensure freedom from surface cracks.

  • Hardness Testing: Verification of tooth surface hardness and case depth.

  • Dimensional Inspection: CMM or precision gauges to ensure all dimensions meet OEM specifications.
