Unlike standard cast parts, our Rotary Kiln Pinion Shafts are manufactured using a high-integrity forging process. This ensures a denser internal structure free from defects, providing the superior fatigue strength required for heavy industrial transmission systems. We offer both integral pinion shafts (shaft and gear as one piece) and mounted pinion assemblies customized to your specific module and helix angle.
Superior Forged Quality: We utilize high-strength Forged Alloy Steel (such as 42CrMo, 18CrNiMo7-6) rather than casting. This significantly improves impact toughness and reduces the risk of shaft breakage under load.
Precision Gear Machining: Our facility is equipped with advanced CNC Gear Hobbing and Grinding machines. We achieve precision grades of ISO 6-8, ensuring a perfect contact pattern with the girth gear to minimize noise and wear.
Advanced Heat Treatment: To extend service life, our shafts undergo Carburizing and Quenching or Through-Hardening. This results in a wear-resistant tooth surface (HRC 58-62) while maintaining a ductile core to absorb shock.
Custom Helical & Spur Designs: Whether you need a Double Helical (Herringbone) gear for a ball mill or a standard Helical Pinion for a kiln, we manufacture strictly according to your OEM drawings.
Total Quality Assurance: Every shaft is subjected to 100% Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to ensure zero internal or surface defects.
