Yile Machinery is a manufacturer of large-scale, custom fabricated gear racks designed for high-torque, heavy-load linear motion applications. Unlike smaller racks milled from a single bar, our heavy-duty racks are engineered by fabricating structural steel components and then precision machining the gear teeth.
This method allows us to produce exceptionally large and robust racks for the most demanding industrial environments, such as mining, material handling, and heavy automation.
Our Manufacturing Process for Fabricated Racks
Creating a gear rack that can withstand the immense forces inside a stone crusher requires a multi-stage, precision-controlled process.
Custom Fabrication & Welding: We begin by fabricating the main body of the rack from high-strength structural steel plates (such as C45/1045). Components are expertly welded together according to your design to create a solid, monolithic blank.
Post-Weld Stress Relieving: To ensure dimensional stability, the welded fabrication is heat-treated to relieve all internal stresses. This critical step prevents warping during the subsequent machining process and during its operational life.
Precision CNC Machining & Gear Cutting: The stress-relieved blank is then moved to our large-capacity CNC milling centers. We machine all mounting surfaces and cut the gear teeth to your exact specifications (Module, pressure angle, and pitch).
Optional Tooth Hardening: For applications requiring maximum wear resistance, the rack's teeth can be further hardened using induction or flame hardening processes.

Primary Material: C45 (1045) Carbon Steel is our most common material, offering an excellent balance of strength, machinability, and cost-effectiveness for heavy-duty applications.
Alloy Steels: For higher strength and durability requirements, we can fabricate racks from alloy steels like 42CrMo (4140) .
