1. Material Selection & Heat Treatment

We start with certified alloy steels like 42CrMo (4140) or 40Cr. After initial machining, the bushing undergoes a critical heat treatment process (such as quenching and tempering or case hardening) to achieve a high surface hardness (typically 55-62 HRC). This creates a glass-hard, wear-resistant surface while maintaining a tough, ductile core to resist fracture.

2. Precision CNC Machining

Post-heat treatment, the bushing is finished using precision grinding and hard turning techniques. Our CNC capabilities allow us to:

  • Hold extremely tight dimensional tolerances for a perfect press-fit or sliding fit.

  • Ensure perfect concentricity between the inner and outer diameters.
