  • The Process: The entire mold is heated in a carbon-rich atmosphere. Carbon atoms are infused deep into the steel's surface.

  • The Result: This creates an extremely hard outer "case" or shell (often 60-64 HRC) for maximum abrasion resistance, while maintaining a softer, tougher inner core that can absorb the shock and vibration of the block machine without cracking. It's the perfect combination of hardness and toughness.

2. Precision CNC Machining & Grinding

After heat treatment, the hardened mold is finished using precise CNC machining and grinding centers.
