The Forging Process for Unmatched Structural Integrity

Our manufacturing process is designed to create a monolithic, seamless cylinder with an optimal internal grain structure for pressure containment.

  1. Heating & Upsetting: A solid billet of high-quality alloy steel is heated to the precise forging temperature. It is then "upset" in a hydraulic press to refine the grain and shape the initial preform.

  2. Seamless Piercing & Drawing: The hot preform is pierced to create a hollow shape. It is then drawn over a mandrel to elongate the cylinder and achieve the desired internal diameter and wall thickness. This entire process ensures a continuous, uninterrupted grain flow that follows the cylinder's contour.

  3. Heat Treatment (Quenching & Tempering): After forging, the cylinder undergoes a controlled heat treatment cycle. This crucial step develops the final mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength, toughness, and resistance to deformation under pressure.
