The Forging Advantage: Superior Strength and Wear Resistance

While many standard rollers are made from simple cast steel, our high-performance rollers are manufactured using a superior process:

  1. Premium Forged Steel: We start with high-grade alloy steel, such as 9Cr2Mo, 65Mn, or other custom alloys. The forging process compacts the steel's internal grain structure, eliminating defects and creating a component that is significantly tougher and more resistant to cracking under pressure than a casting.

  2. Specialized Heat Treatment: After forging and rough machining, each roller undergoes a critical heat treatment process (quenching and tempering). This carefully controlled cycle creates an extremely hard outer surface (HRC 60-65) for maximum abrasion resistance, while maintaining a tougher, more ductile core to absorb shock and prevent catastrophic failure.

  3. Precision CNC Machining: The final roller pockets (sockets) are precision-machined using CNC equipment. This ensures every briquette produced is uniform in shape, size, and density, leading to higher quality finished products and better demolding performance.
