Working Principle

The Disc Granulator operates on a simple yet highly effective "snowball" principle. Driven by a motor and reducer, the large inclined disc rotates continuously. Raw powder materials are fed into the disc, where they are lifted by the friction between the material and the disc wall, and then fall back down under gravity. During this rolling process, a liquid binder or water is sprayed evenly. The continuous tumbling action causes the powder particles to stick together, gradually growing into uniform spherical granules. Built-in scraper blades prevent materials from sticking to the disc wall and ensure a smooth discharge.
